Russia, Hate, Violence, Shame

Yes, I had some things to say about Russia’s leadership. OutJustice is my outlet for that type of commentary.

Russia has a law criminalizing “propaganda” that shows LGBTQIA persons in a positive light. Anyone who participates in “gayness,” or says it’s pretty OK in some way (so to speak) is to be shut down. Violence? Sure, why not. Go ahead.

Two women holding hands = crime.

Waiving a rainbow flag = crime.

Help a Victim of Violence Today

Image

Three men gay bashed Daniel Hauff on January 10, 2010 after he stepped in to assist their first victim. He then became the target of their hate. All three men were acquitted of their crime.

Help Spread Compassion and OutJustice’s Anti-Violence Programming by sharing the social networking tools currently in use. Our mission is to advocate visibility and integrity for the LGBTQIA Community in the face of injustice.

The organization formed to assist me after I was gay bashed in 2010. We could use your support. Thank you.

YOU’RE invited to the RECEPTION, BAYBEE!

Wonder what I’m doin’ whenever I’m not bloggin’ here on DanielHauff.com? (I know, I haven’t been doing it all that long, but she [me] does throw some good stuff at ya’, right? Am I right?)

What do I do in order to get back into health after throwing out my back (only the third time in fifteen years, which ain’t so bad, right?)? I mean, what do I DO since I stopped overseeing the despicable abuses inherent in the dairy, egg, and meat industries? Really want to knowContinue reading

Threw my back out …

Released into the public domain by PETA.

Steve-O did a voice over for a Mercy For animals commercial we did once, but other than that his naked self has nothing to do with this article other than to remind one to please lift with your legs. Released into the public domain by PETA. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

It’s been a long time since I threw my back out.

In fact, it’s been since the day I was to work undercover (or, let’s just say “covertly” for that situation, without announcing myself: “I’m here to film you harming animals so that the state can tell us there are no laws to protect these animals and we can push for better laws and inside I truly despise you, Animal Abuser!”) early in 2007 with a colleague to document some abuse in [State Redacted]. HOLY FRIGGIN’ SMOKES. I had no idea you were following me!

HOLY FRIGGIN’ SMOKES. I really didn’t.

I was just about to transfer one of the wildlife questions that I just received into a blog post – a “Dear Daniel” sorta’ idea. I get questions all the time about wildlife, companion animals, farmed animals, and human rights given the work I’ve done over the years and my current work, too. So, when I was about to paste in my draft response, I noticed the “Follow” button was an option even though I’m the owner and administrator of the blog. So, I thought that I ought to “follow” my blog. So I did. To my shock and amazement (seriously), the WordPress site has 3,299 “other amazing people” following my blog of only a few postings. Oops!

3,299 people follow this blog with only four blog posts ever placed. That’s pretty decent (!). Thanks for your support and I’m sorry I hadn’t been bloggin’ as I shoulda’ been!

If I had known, I promise I would not have been so lackadaisical about this site whatsoever. Continue reading
